Wood and Deer Antler Leg of Lamb Carver, 19th century A table-top leg of lamb carver consisting of a turned handle made of dark wood, topped with a wide band of natural deer antler. A screw-clamping mechanism, also adorned with antler, held the leg of lamb securely in place during carving. The end of the handle features a small geometric inlay of light and dark wood.
