Enameled stoneware animal sculpture of an otter, by Roger Duterme (1919-1997) - Belgium - XX century A stylized figure of an otter standing on its hind legs, with its forelegs bent back against its body and its elongated tail resting on the ground, a refined treatment with smooth volumes underlined by a nuanced brown glaze with speckled effects, typical of the work of 20th-century French ceramist Roger Duterme, an ensemble characteristic of a decorative animal production.
