Maison Jansen – Gold-Finished Metal Palm Tree Lamp - Lot 68

Maison Jansen – Gold-Finished Metal Palm Tree Lamp A decorative palm tree-shaped table lamp, consisting of a central shaft reminiscent of a bamboo trunk, topped with lush foliage made of cut metal with a gold patina. The openwork, finely chiseled leaves create a sculptural effect characteristic of Hollywood Regency-style pieces and the decorative creations attributed to Maison Jansen in the 1960s and 1970s. The quadrangular base, made of patinated metal, completes the piece and highlights the lamp’s exotic silhouette. A decorative object representative of the taste for naturalistic forms and tropical influences that shaped interior design in the second half of the 20th century. Details: Patinated gold-plated metal and lacquered metal – attributed to Maison Jansen – circa 1970 – Height: 80 cm – Diameter: 55 cm – Weight: 8.5 kg.
