An elegant traditional Ethiopian gourd crafted from a natural calabash, adorned across its entire surface with delicate engraved geometric patterns. The upper portion is encircled by a wide decorative collar composed of numerous rows of small white and red glass beads, forming contrasting geometric patterns. The vessel retains its calabash stopper as well as its original carrying straps made of leather and plant fibers. A beautiful utilitarian and decorative object, featuring an antique patina and signs of wear consistent with its age.
