PHYWE Educational Botanical Model Based on Brendel – Araceae Inflorescence and Conifer Cone – Germany, 20th century Educational botanical model produced by the German firm PHYWE (Physikalische Werkstätten), based on the famous Brendel models used in natural science education. The set depicts two enlarged plant structures: an aroids inflorescence with a spathe and spadix, and a conifer cone. Made of polychrome synthetic materials mounted on metal supports and resting on its original base, this model was used to study plant morphology in schools, institutes, and universities.
