Painted wooden box in the Art Nouveau style A rectangular wooden box painted with oil paint, made in the early 20th century in the Art Nouveau style. The lid is decorated with a female portrait in profile holding a rose, accompanied by a vaporizing perfume bottle and intertwined plant motifs. The interior is lined with antique satin fabric. The box retains its lock, but the key is missing. The piece exhibits an antique patina, as well as scuffs, scratches, and visible crazing on the decoration.
