Porcelain bottle-shaped vase with lotus and wading bird decoration, Japan, early 20th century A bottle-shaped vase made of glazed porcelain with a white background, decorated in polychrome with lotus leaves and flowers among reeds, accompanied by cranes and swallows in flight. The neck is accented with a black and gold border featuring a geometric design. The decoration is inspired by Japanese works from the late Meiji and Taishō periods.
