Tabriz Wool Rug – Iran, 20th century Hand-knotted Tabriz wool rug featuring a central medallion surrounded by scrollwork, palmettes, and stylized flowers on a midnight blue and ivory background. The wide red border is adorned with animals, including deer, felines, birds, and other figures inspired by Persian hunting carpets. The finely rendered composition follows the tradition of the Tabriz workshops. Fringes at both ends. Dimensions: 124 × 181 cm.
