London – Boxlock flintlock pistol – 18th century Compact boxlock flintlock pistol with a carved wooden stock and metal fittings. Round steel barrel with an antique patina, equipped with a removable iron ramrod housed beneath the barrel. Signed lock plate (marking partially legible, likely “London”), with a swan-neck hammer and a functional firing mechanism. Curved stock ending in a metal pommel, decorated with engraved motifs. Single trigger under the trigger guard. The pistol shows uniform wear with surface oxidation, consistent with its age.
