Snuff Bottle - Carved Corozo Nut – 19th Century A small snuff bottle carved from a corozo nut, with a flattened shape, decorated on each side with relief depictions of musical instruments, surrounded by a border of stylized leaves. The stopper features a small knob made of a light-colored material. This type of bottle, designed for carrying snuff, demonstrates the finesse of the carving work on vegetable ivory, a material widely used in the 19th century for making pocket items.
