Iridescent Loetz Vase with Metallic Decoration – Bohemia, early 20th century A baluster-shaped vase with a long, flared neck and a wavy rim, attributed to the Loetz glassworks in Bohemia. Crafted from blown glass with polychrome iridescence, it features a surface with violet, green, and bluish reflections, enhanced by a speckled and crackled decoration characteristic of the factory’s iridescent pieces. The slender silhouette and the shifting play of light are in keeping with the Art Nouveau aesthetic developed by Loetz at the turn of the 20th century.
