Cast bronze group of the Three Graces, after Germain Pilon, late 19th century Cast bronze sculpture with a nuanced brown patina depicting the Three Graces, after a model by Germain Pilon (c. 1525–1590). The three female figures, arranged back-to-back in a composition inspired by antiquity, rest on an integrated circular base. The base bears the cast signature “Germain Pilon” as well as a partially legible foundry mark ending with “Frères.” The sculpture is composed of several elements assembled using the traditional technique of artistic casting.
