Joan of Arc on horseback carrying the standard, after E. Bouret, late 19th century A bronze sculpture with a brown patina depicting Joan of Arc in armor mounted on her horse, holding her standard in a triumphant gesture. The composition highlights the movement of the horse and the determined posture of the French heroine. Based on a model by the French sculptor Eutrope Bouret (1833–1906), this work is part of the historicist movement of the late 19th century, a period during which the figure of Joan of Arc experienced a significant resurgence of interest. The molded rectangular base completes the ensemble. Details: Height: 73 cm – Width: 43 cm – Depth: 19 cm – Weight: 17.5 kg
