Pair of Medici vases in white and gilded porcelain, France, Restoration or Louis-Philippe period, 19th century Pair of Medici-shaped vases in white porcelain enhanced with extensive gilding. The flared bodies rest on circular pedestals and square bases. Each vase is adorned with two applied handles decorated with stylized ram’s heads. The simplicity of the decoration, limited to the contrast between white and gold, is in keeping with the French decorative tradition of the first third of the 19th century. Some wear to the gilding and slight signs of use. Details: Height: 30 cm – Width: 22.5 cm – Total weight: 4.100 kg.
