Pair of Art Nouveau vases in polychrome porcelain decorated - Lot 218
Pair of Art Nouveau vases in polychrome porcelain decorated with child figures, Royal Dux, Bohemia, early 20th century
Pair of polychrome porcelain vases from the Royal Dux factory, baluster-shaped with long flared necks, decorated with relief figures of children applied to the body. Each vase features a seated figure set against a naturalistic backdrop of foliage and sculpted plant elements. The ivory, soft green, and pale pink tones, combined with the delicate modeling of the faces and drapery, reflect the Art Nouveau aesthetic characteristic of early 20th-century Bohemian production. The triangular pink marks beneath the base confirm the attribution to the Royal Dux factory.
