Chinese decorative painting on silk depicting floral arrangements in cloisonné vases, mid-20th century Chinese decorative painting executed on silk or fine fabric, depicting flowering plants and scholar’s objects arranged in cloisonné-style blue enamel vases and planters. The work bears a signature or a red Chinese seal in the lower left corner and is surrounded by a painted floral border. Presented under glass in a carved wooden frame made in Belgium. Back with framer’s paper “Apprêts Tiquet-Wéry – Dison-Verviers,” indicating that it was framed in Belgium around the mid-20th century.
