Set of five small circular display trays woven from fine plant fibers, decorated with concentric motifs alternating natural and dark brown fibers. The spiral work and regularity of the braiding testify to the skill of traditional Tutsi basketry. These small displays were used to present food, nuts or small offerings in a domestic context.
