Tutsi wall mat in raffia with geometric design - Rwanda, mid-20th century Tutsi wall rug or decorative mat woven from raffia fibers, featuring linear geometric decoration in horizontal registers of red, black and beige. The stylized triangular and diamond motifs are characteristic of Rwandan production in the mid-20th century.
