Cat-shaped inkwell, Vienna (Bergman), late 19th - early 20th century Viennese bronze inkwell depicting a standing cat with its tail raised, with a naturalistic treatment of its fur. The head is articulated and opens to reveal the ink reservoir. The cold-applied polychromy shows wear on the protruding parts, consistent with use and age.
