Large polychrome plaster statue of a standing angel, originally with wings now missing, dressed in a long tunic and draped cloak, holding a lantern mounted on a slender staff topped by a Gothic-style openwork element. The soft-featured face is framed by curly hair, in a treatment typical of 19th-century religious statuary. Polychromy in cream and red tones with decorative highlights. The reverse shows openings and traces of attachment related to the missing wings. Visible wear, missing parts and alterations.
