Blue and white porcelain plate, Kraak style, China, Kangxi period, circa 1670-1690 Porcelain plate with blue underglaze decoration, presenting in the center a garden scene with a female figure and a child next to stylized rocks and plants, in a landscape inspired by late Ming dynasty compositions; the wing is divided into radiating reserves alternating floral motifs, landscapes and geometric elements characteristic of the Kraak repertoire; decoration executed in cobalt with tonal variations under a transparent glaze; reverse decorated with a symbol painted in underglaze blue, typical of Jingdezhen export wares in the early Kangxi period. Condition: very good overall condition, with light edge wear and small traces of use, no visible cracks or restorations. Details: porcelain - Diameter: 24.2 cm - Weight: 365 g
