Carved wooden comb featuring a handle surmounted by a stylized female head, topped by a headband incised with squared motifs, the face with sober geometric features, almond-shaped eyes and discreet mouth, resting on a rectangular section adorned with registers of incised chevron and cross-hatching decorations, extended by seven fine, slightly tapered teeth, with slender proportions and a light-brown satin patina, characteristic of Chokwe production associated with the "Lwena" type in the mid-twentieth century.
