Brass pommel cane in the shape of a dog's head, late XIXᵉ - early XXᵉ century Gentleman's cane adorned with a brass knob featuring a finely cast dog's head, with marked details of the coat, eyes and open mouth, mounted on a hardwood shaft painted in a reddish-brown hue and fitted with a leather strap, surface showing an old patina with traces of use consistent with the period. Details: late XIXᵉ - early XXᵉ century period; materials brass, hardwood and leather; length 86 cm; weight 248 g; condition good old condition with surface wear and marks on the shaft, slight traces of time on the pommel, strap intact.
