Alain Guillot (b. 1948) - Crystal sculpture with red inclusion and gold aventurine, 1990, model no. 621 Solid free-form crystal sculpture with a large red internal inclusion in gradated shades, studded with gold aventurine, set in a thick mass of translucent glass. Resting on a satin-finish circular base. A late 20th-century French studio glass work, highlighting the effects of depth, light and transparency. Signed, dated 1990 and numbered 621 under the base. Height: 37 cm; width: 13 cm; weight: approx. 2.5 kg.
