Pair of blue and white porcelain plates, China, Qing dynasty, Qianlong period (circa 1750) Pair of export porcelain plates decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with stylized floral motifs. The center features a floral composition surrounded by a double fillet and a frieze of foliage on the wing. The reverse is undecorated, with an unglazed heel retaining traces of firing, characteristic of Jingdezhen productions intended for export in the XVIIIᵉ century. Details: origin China, Jingdezhen; Qing dynasty; Qianlong period (circa 1750); material porcelain, underglaze blue decoration; diameter 23.5 cm each; height 2.5 cm; total weight 517 g; condition good overall condition, small glaze chips and slight traces of use consistent with age.
