Large Chinese blue and white porcelain vase with dragons in - Lot 178
Large Chinese blue and white porcelain vase with dragons in relief - Jingdezhen, mid-20ᵉ century. Fine porcelain baluster-shaped vase, decorated underglaze in cobalt blue with floral motifs and stylized clouds. Two dragons in relief, applied and modeled, wrap around the belly, enlivening the composition with their sinuous movement. The contrast between the painted decoration and the relief elements underlines the decorative character of the whole. Jingdezhen production, circa 1950-1970. Details: underglaze blue porcelain; height 43 cm; weight 2,945 g; excellent condition, no cracks or restorations, slight traces of age under the base.
