Pair of wrought iron andirons with bronze elements, XVIᵉ-XVIIᵉ century Pair of wrought-iron andirons with slender vertical uprights, surmounted by lobed-shaped cast bronze balls. The bases rest on flared claw-shaped feet. The surfaces show old oxidation and a homogeneous patina due to use. European production, probably Spanish or French, from the late Renaissance or early Baroque period. Details: dating XVIᵉ-XVIIᵉ century; materials wrought iron and bronze; height 44 cm; length 37 cm; total weight 4.4 kg; condition wear, oxidation and surface pitting consistent with age, stable set.
