Italian or French school, early XIXᵉ century - Jeune femme au ruban rouge, oil on panel Oil on antique oak panel depicting a young woman with braided hair adorned with a red ribbon, raising her arm in an expressive gesture, Neoclassical or Romantic-inspired composition executed circa 1800-1830, probably based on an earlier model, executed on a reused XVIIᵉ or XVIIIᵉ century oak panel later reinforced with canvas lining to ensure stability, unsigned work bearing an old "131" collection label on the reverse.
