Blown glass vase with faceted decoration, in the Venini style, Murano, 20th century Slender, slightly conical cylindrical vase in thick blown glass. The outer surface is entirely worked with a regular faceted decoration, obtained by cold cutting, giving the whole a geometric texture and a play of matte and glossy reflections. The glass features a subtle chromatic gradation, from smoky amber-brown and olive tones at the top to lighter, translucent areas at the base. The rim is straight and polished, the base flat with visible traces of craftsmanship. Emphasis is placed on the material, verticality and depth of color characteristic of Muranese artistic glassware of the second half of the 20th century, in the taste of Venini productions.
